Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage the adult and community learning programme, ensuring alignment with the Trusts strategic objectives. Develop and implement a compelling curriculum that responds to community needs and national policy requirements. Provide operational and academic leadership to a diverse team of tutors and staff. Oversee the budget for adult learning initiatives and ensure effective resource management. Foster a culture of pride and excellence within the team while encouraging continuous professional development. Represent Westway Trust externally, advocating for the learning programme within the local community. Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards, working with external bodies such as Ofsted and awarding organisations. Drive quality improvement efforts and support the self-assessment and quality improvement processes. The Person To be successful in this role, youll need: A minimum of 2 years experience in adult education. A degree-level qualification or equivalent experience. A teaching qualification and a Level 4 TAQA qualification in Internal Quality Assurance or equivalent. Experience in curriculum development, including accredited and non-accredited courses. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate a diverse team. Knowledge of adult learning policies and national standards. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. The ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities. Desirable: A background in ESOL and knowledge of the local North Kensington area. ADZN1_UKTJ
