Job Title: Sales Director – EMEA & Global (Second Line Leadership) Location: Amsterdam, Netherlands (Hybrid) Salary: €100,000 – €130,000 base €200,000 – €260,000 OTE (Uncapped) Industry: AI, Cloud, Data, SaaS Type: Full-Time | Permanent Reporting to: VP of Sales / CRO About the Company Our client is a high-growth AI software vendor headquartered in the Netherlands. Backed by over €100M in Series B funding and having already achieved tech unicorn status, they are scaling rapidly across global markets. With four consecutive years of YoY growth, they are a recognized leader in AI auditing, cloud, and data-driven software solutions. The Opportunity As part of their global expansion, our client is seeking a Sales Director to join their EMEA/Global commercial leadership team. This is a second-line leadership role based in Amsterdam, with strategic oversight of regional and global sales initiatives. You’ll inherit and lead a high-performing team of three Sales Managers, each managing teams of 6 Account Executives. This is a pivotal role in driving new revenue growth, scaling the go-to-market (GTM) strategy, and collaborating cross-functionally to impact ARR globally. Key Responsibilities Lead, mentor, and coach 3 Sales Managers and their respective AE teams across EMEA and global territories. Own and drive the execution of the GTM sales strategy in alignment with company goals. Partner with cross-functional teams (Marketing, Product, Customer Success) to ensure a cohesive sales motion. Analyze sales metrics to identify trends, forecast revenue, and optimize team performance. Champion a hands-on leadership approach – actively supporting teams in complex deals and strategic accounts. Play a key role in scaling operations and driving international growth in new and existing markets. Requirements Proven track record in a second-line sales leadership role within high-growth SaaS, AI, or cloud-based environments. Experience leading and developing Sales Managers and scaling teams across multiple geographies. Strong GTM acumen with a data-driven approach to performance and growth. Comfortable operating in a high-growth, fast-paced, and dynamic startup/unicorn setting. Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Fluent in English; additional European languages are a plus.
