Devops Engineer

Apparound is looking for DevOps Engineers who lead by example, have a value-driven and end-to-end mindset, set their own goals, improve their teams, and demonstrate technical excellence. You will work in a highly technical environment alongside strong engineers within an Agile Scrum / Kanban methodology. Please note: This position is not 100% remote. Main responsibilities include: Collaborate with developers and DevOps staff to oversee code releases (Release management) Provide code installation across all platforms Contribute to the end-to-end production process of new or updated product features Manage delivery of software into test, beta, and production environments Develop and maintain deployment scripts and code as needed Maintain detailed installation processes using ITIL and DevOps best practices (e.g., checklists) Build and maintain application monitoring systems Support and promote DevOps culture within R&D and CO teams (DevOps Evangelist activities) Manage end-to-end resolution of production defects (Problems management) Document workflows and processes Enhance operational performance Coordinate with IT Security teams Required skills and experience: Knowledge of Microsoft Azure and Kubernetes Server environment expertise (Windows and Linux, including Web environments) Hands-on experience with configuration management and deployment tools such as Git and Azure DevOps Proficiency in scripting languages: PowerShell and Bash Experience in automation and development IT systems knowledge Flexibility regarding working hours Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Experience with Agile methodologies, especially Scrum and Kanban (preferred) Fluency in Italian and English Basic SQL knowledge (a plus) Preferred qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or higher in computer science or related fields Experience across the full product lifecycle from design to delivery Proven troubleshooting and problem resolution skills Experience in performance monitoring and tuning, including: Monitoring performance closely Identifying issues and implementing solutions Ensuring optimal environment performance Development skills in C#, C++, Java, including distributed programming models Knowledge of .NET Framework, Service-Oriented Architecture, SQL, and Mobile technologies (desirable) Experience in documentation and maintaining information security Ability to support users, including hardware/software setup, troubleshooting, and access issues What you will gain: If you join Apparound, you will be part of a highly innovative software company, the only Italian firm in Gartner's Magic QuadrantTM for Configure, Price & Quote Application Suites.
