Manufacturing - General Manager

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven General Manager with production operations experience  to lead our water treatment equipment division based in Fort Worth, Texas.  We are a leading provider of innovative water treatment solutions, specializing in equipment, reagents, and software products and applications utilized in the commercial water treatment industry.  The ideal candidate for the General Manager role will have extensive experience in the water treatment industry, engineering, strong leadership skills, and a proven track record in people and process management.

Key responsibilities include the overall coordination and management of the panel production process, including scheduling, assembly, shipping, warehouse, and facility safety.  Synchronize sales opportunities with production scheduling, raw materials, and labor assignments to ensure maximum performance, quality, and safety.  Work cross-collaboratively with internal and external customers to coordinate priorities.  

Other responsibilities include:   

• Develop and implement strategic plans to drive business growth and market expansion.
• Manage P&L, budgets, and financial performance to ensure profitability.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, suppliers, and stakeholders.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team across various departments.
• Manufacturing acumen related to water treatment equipment / industrial plumbing / and remote telecom communications
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations, safety standards, and environmental policies.
• Identify new market opportunities and drive innovation in water treatment technologies.
• Incorporate Lean Manufacturing practices in day-to-day operations to ensure cost, quality, safety, labor, timelines, and logistic efficiencies.  

Qualifications and Requirements: 

AquaPhoenix Scientific considers applicants with diverse backgrounds, education, and work experience; however, applicants for the General Manager position will frequently have a combined education and/or work experience that includes: 

• High School Diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Business Administration, or a related field, and/or proven hands on industry experience.   
• 8+ years of experience in the water treatment industry, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of water treatment technologies, equipment, and market trends.
• Demonstrated success in business development and revenue growth.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to analyze financial reports and manage budgets effectively.
• Experience working with regulatory agencies and compliance requirements.
