Their Houston facility has been in operation for over 20 years. Job Summary Our client is seeking a Straight Line Operator to join their team in North Houston. Job Description Operate overhead cranes. 5 ton to 25 tons w/ magnets, chains with dual/single trolleys Stands for a long periods of time Able to utilize a computer or tablet for pick updating Operate a track torch oxy or plasma cutter Read drawings/blueprints Stamping material with stamp guns or by hand Set up and operate strengthening and cutting machines to process steel materials according to specifications Monitor the production process to ensure products meet quality standards, using measuring tools like micrometers and calipers Adhere to all safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized work environment Equipment: Straight Line; Machine: SLB The above statements are intended to describe the essential functions and related requirements of persons assigned to this job.
