This day-shift position supports a 26-bed unit caring for high-acuity patients, including post-CABG and PCI, sepsis, DKA, and respiratory failure. Ideal for experienced critical care nurses who are confident floating between ICU and PCU settings. Assignment Details: Location: Lufkin, TX Contract Length: 13 Weeks Shift: 7:00 AM 7:00 PM | 12-hour Days Schedule: Every Other Weekend (EOW) Unit Size: 26 Beds Patient Population: Post-CABG and PCI cardiac patients Sepsis, DKA, and respiratory failure Ratios: ICU: 2:1 (may flex to 3:1 based on acuity) PCU: 4:1 Requirements: Active RN license (TX or compact) Minimum 3 years of ICU/PCU experience Current BLS and ACLS (AHA) Strong adaptability and clinical judgment Why Sunbelt?
