International Compliance Manager - MGA

International Compliance Manager | Lloyd’s Market Location: London (Hybrid) IDEX Consulting are currently partnered with an MGA who are looking for an International Compliance Manager to support the Head of Compliance in delivering a best-in-class, globally-minded compliance function during an exciting phase of international growth. This is a broad, high-impact role where you’ll act as a trusted advisor to the business, lead on cross-border compliance matters, and play a crucial role in establishing new international branches, from regulatory licensing and approvals to embedding local compliance frameworks. What You’ll Be Doing: Provide compliance oversight and advisory support to international underwriting teams, ensuring regulatory expectations are understood and met across multiple jurisdictions. Act as a key stakeholder in setting up and supporting new international branches — including regulatory licensing, third-party arrangements, and local compliance infrastructure. Work closely with underwriters, senior leadership, and external advisers to manage cross-border compliance risks and ensure commercial goals align with regulatory obligations. Design and implement proportionate risk and compliance strategies tailored to local and international regulatory landscapes. Develop and maintain compliance frameworks, policies, and controls across global operations. Liaise with UK and international regulators, including responding to audits, thematic reviews, and licensing requests. Monitor and interpret regulatory developments globally, providing forward-looking advice to ensure continued compliance. Support remediation of breaches, identify root causes, and ensure appropriate preventative controls are implemented. Lead or contribute to risk-based monitoring and thematic reviews across international operations. Who We’re Looking For: Proven experience in insurance compliance, ideally within a Lloyd’s market or international MGA environment . Demonstrated ability to engage and influence stakeholders, particularly underwriters and senior business leaders with credibility and confidence. Strong understanding of international regulatory environments , including experience with branch set-ups or managing compliance across multiple jurisdictions. Commercial awareness with a pragmatic approach to problem-solving and risk management. A proactive self-starter comfortable operating in a fast-paced, scaling business. Why Join Us?
