Chef de Partie

We are a family business operating a farm shop and The Longhorn Bar & Grill. Our restaurant has only been open just over two years, but in that time, we have grown significantly both in terms of reputation and business. Pride of place is our beef. We are cattle farmers and our restaurant prides itself on putting local beef on the menu, primarily in the form of steaks on the grill. We also do fine dining from time to time, pairing wines from our excellent range with dishes prepared by our team of top notch chefs. We are looking for a Chef de Partie to join our team. Are you hard-working, honest, creative and reliable? If so, please read on. Your role will involve: Ensuring the highest standards of food hygiene; Preparing and presenting food that reflects the quality of our offering; Stock rotation; Keeping food wastage to a minimum; Preparing the kitchen for service and close down, partaking in regular deep cleans of all areas. You will need to have the ability to conduct yourself professionally, work well in a team, but also to work independently, using your initiative. You will need problem solving skills and be able to stay calm under pressure. We are open seven days a week, although, currently, we are not open on Mondays and Tuesdays for lunch or Sundays for dinner. Do you have the demonstrable skills we have set out above?
