Science Teacher Annual Salary: £33,075 - £50,471 Location: South West London Job Type: Full-time, Permanent Join our vibrant team as a Science Teacher. The successful candidate will start in September and contribute to a dynamic learning environment. Day-to-day of the role: Plan and teach high-quality lessons that cater to the diverse needs of students, ensuring good or outstanding progress. Set clear learning targets based on prior student attainment, treating each student as an individual. Assess student work and progress, providing regular feedback in line with school policy. Contribute to and follow the department's schemes of work. Prepare students thoroughly for examinations and report on student progress according to school policy. Maintain a stimulating, engaging, and safe learning environment. Attend parent/information evenings and respond to parental concerns in accordance with school policy. Engage in the wider life of the school, including participating in routine duties and school activities. Take responsibility for personal professional development and participate in performance management activities. Required Skills & Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). Proven experience in teaching Science at secondary school level. Ability to deliver engaging, effective lessons and to assess student progress. Commitment to professional development and meeting the Teacher Standards. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
