Project Planner

Job Title: Project Planner (Contract - Inside IR35) Location: Bristol (Hybrid - 2/3 Days per Week On-Site) Region: Wales & Western Rail Framework Contract Type: Contract (Inside IR35) Overview: We are currently seeking an experienced Project Planner to join a major rail framework in the Wales & Western region. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to key infrastructure projects, working in a client-side role on a high-profile programme. This position is based in Bristol with hybrid working arrangements (2-3 days per week on site). Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 Conduct Earned Value Analysis (EVA) and reporting Identify and manage the critical path and key project milestones Interface with delivery teams and clients to ensure programme alignment Ensure compliance with NEC contract requirements Provide accurate forecasting and progress tracking Support planning governance, reviews, and reporting cycles Essential Requirements: Proven experience using Primavera P6 in a project planning capacity Strong understanding of NEC contract frameworks Demonstrated experience in Earned Value Analysis (EVA) Strong knowledge of critical path method Prior client-side experience within infrastructure or rail projects Rail sector experience is essential We are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity in our company.
