Job Responsibilities: Responsible for developing and enhancing Foreign Exchange (FX) and interest Rate products to offer market competitive products to meet client requirement and drive an increase in business. Also, responsible for partnering with the Relationship Managers and the Global Markets Sales to support with materials for client pitches on the FX and Derivative products. Support the development of the department’s strategy and to meet revenue targets for department. Ensure various risks within the bank for new products and existing products are effectively identified, measured, monitored and controlled and establish the processes in line with the internal policy. Define product features and develop product overviews and workflows to crystalize product use and process owners. Develop and maintain strong stakeholder management with key stakeholders both within MUFG and externally. Work in partnership with colleagues in the region to share best practice, deliver an integrated service for our clients and to develop new business. Work in partnership with colleagues in department in Relationship Managers and Global Markets Sales to support the new FX or Interest Rate Derivative products. Review, analyze, and evaluate business and user needs in order to recommend solutions and options. Work in partnership with various departments (i.e. Legal, Compliance, Accounting, Operations, IT, Finance etc.) in the Branches to consult on proposed new products, seek feedback and source solutions to meet local regulations. Lead the development or enhancement of FX and Interest Rate Derivative products within the region to ensure they are implemented on-time and on budget. Prepare data modelling and analysis to ensure pricing and product offerings are aligned to business strategy. And develop a system and model and engage in relevant documentations and coordinate with middle office and back office for regulatory compliances. Understand the full trading flow life cycle and objectives and priorities of the business. Maintain good working knowledge of industry trends, products, relevant laws and regulations. Sourcing products from Tokyo HQ to meet client needs in the APAC regions. Work closely with the Tokyo HQ stakeholders (risk management/ system/ quants team) to develop new products. Building strong relationships with sales and related departments across APAC Participate in relevant committees, conferences and meetings in the region if needed. Adhere to all relevant regulations, company policies and guidelines. Job Requirements: Minimum 5 years of Sales and Trading experience within banking industry Exposure in treasury products FX, Rates, Fixed Income Knowledge in Japanese language is advantageous to collaborate with Japanese-speaking stakeholders Good managerial / leadership skill. Good relevant industry experience and knowledge of competitor landscape, covering FX or interest rate Derivatives. Good communication skills with the ability to influence others and sell ideas. Demonstrate capability to interact, negotiate and influence at all levels of management and across the organisations. In depth knowledge of global markets products, including but not limited to FX and Interest Rate Derivative products. Good knowledge of legal and accounting to assess new global markets products and understand the impact to various laws and regulations.
