Location: Pisa, Italy (Position allows occasional remote work) Employment Type: Full-time, Freelance Start Date: ASAP Tasks · Conducting accounting and control tasks, requiring knowledge in the theory and practice of financial transaction recording, classification, verification, and analysis in accordance with applicable regulations · Processing incoming and outgoing invoices (including cost center allocation), payment receipts, and all booking transactions (accruals, fixed assets, payroll, various internal documents, cash) as well as inventory movements in accordance with accounting principles and applicable law · Reviewing tax documents and ensuring the correction of errors · Responsible for tax matters and preparation of monthly VAT returns, sales tax control reports, vehicle and property tax returns in accordance with applicable legislation · Preparing transfers and ensuring timely payment of received invoices · Regular preparation of reports within the group (profit and loss statement, balance sheet, open receivables and payables, liquidity) · Communication with banks, insurance companies, and tax authorities · Responsible for preparing statistical reports for individual companies · Auditing and inventorying accounts · Reconciling receivables and payables within the group · Preparing reports as requested by supervisors · Supporting internal and external audits · Communicating with other departments, management, and, if necessary, headquarters abroad · Providing documents for the consolidated annual financial statements of the company · Preparing the annual financial statements in accordance with applicable legislation · Performing ad hoc tasks as instructed by the Country Manager for Italy Requirements · Successfully completed studies in Accounting and Auditing · Language Skills: Italian – C1; English – B2-C1 · 5 years of experience in a similar position · Advanced knowledge of double-entry bookkeeping · In-depth knowledge of accounting and tax laws · Ability to navigate specialized topics and willingness to continue education · Experience in reporting within a corporate structure · Written and verbal communication with the headquarters abroad · Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams · Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics NAV D365 · Friendly and open communication · Attention to detail, independence, and sense of responsibility · Analytical thinking · Driver's License: Class B Benefits · Exciting work with the internationally used accounting software Microsoft Dynamics D365 · Employment with a multinational group headquartered in Vienna · Team-building events abroad · Working from home and in a modern office · Opportunities for professional development in accounting (D365, cost centers, reporting, IFRS) · Career development opportunities Have we sparked your interest?
