Position INDUSTRIAL LOGISTICS & MATERIAL HANDLING SPECIALIST You will work for a major client in the Automotive - Transportation sector, based in Turin , and be part of a dedicated technical team on a key consultancy project. Main Responsibilities Design preliminary industrial layouts, focusing on processes, material flows, and spaces. Support the industrialization of new lines: analyze requirements, technical specifications, quality, timing, costs, and investments. Assess logistical impact: area sizing, equipment selection and commissioning, procurement. Improve existing processes through re-layout, internal movement optimization, and automated/innovative solutions. Conduct technical studies involving process analysis, layout definition, equipment specifications, and investment evaluation. Define and promote best practices for process and layout optimization across all plants and projects. Manage supplier activities, including technical documentation preparation and bid evaluation. Perform ergonomic assessments, feasibility studies, cycle analysis, and support FMEA and Control Plan development. Supervise on-site activities related to new equipment installation, logistics systems, and production startup. Requirements You are the right candidate if you: Have a degree in mechanical or industrial engineering (or equivalent experience). Possess good written and spoken English skills. Have 2-3 years of experience in industrial engineering, layout design, logistics flow analysis, or product industrialization. Are proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint); familiarity with Power BI and AI tools is a plus. Have experience with CAD software and technical drawing interpretation. Possess solid knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles. Have proven experience in process optimization, layout planning, and automation in production environments. Have experience estimating costs for industrial investments (equipment, layout, handling systems, etc.).
