The role will be based in Rome (Italy) and will report directly to the Finance Directors. The role involves supporting the continuous improvement, management, and coordination of all finance processes, particularly related to VAT and accounts receivable. Main Tasks and Responsibilities Perform professional and supervisory accounting responsibilities related to the interpretation and processing of financial data; Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring compliance with procedures, principles, statutes, and regulations; Perform basic tax computations such as VAT application review on daily transactions and monthly VAT settlements; Calculate monthly withholding tax payments by reviewing withholding tax application criteria; Review and approve invoice processing, vouchers, adjustments, refunds, expenditures, and disbursements, investigating discrepancies and recommending corrective actions; Interpret and apply garnishments, review pay rate changes, and respond to interrogatories; Assist in compiling, preparing, analyzing, and presenting detailed financial statements, reports, and data. The successful Candidate: Bachelor's Degree in Economics or related field; At least 2 years of experience in a professional firm; Excellent written and spoken English; Knowledge of Accounts Receivable processes and basic accounting principles; Knowledge of VAT regulations; Organized, detail-oriented, with strong analytical skills and the ability to prioritize; Solution-oriented and capable of problem-solving; Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel.
