Engineer - Project Manager, Global Packaging and Serialization

The Global Packaging and Global Serialization Program is responsible for providing engineering and technical support for Lilly's commercial packaging operations worldwide, including asset delivery. Our mission to support Lilly's global commercial packaging is achieved through a team of internal Lilly technical experts and a network of design, construction, and qualification contractors. Many assets focus on medical innovation and delivering innovative solutions to patients. Some assets support expanding the supply of existing medicines or making the supply chain more robust. Project Management : Lead and manage large capital projects ($5MM to $100MM) involving both Lilly and Non-Lilly professionals to safely achieve project objectives from conceptual design through performance qualification and/or process validation. Objectives include scope, asset capability or capacity, cost, schedule, and compliance. Compliance : Lead with a disciplined, structured approach to project management, ensuring compliance with GFD, Global Packaging, and Company Policies and Procedures. Safety / Environment : Develop and maintain safety and environmental execution plans for projects. Ensure compliance with safety and environmental policies, procedures, and work rules for project personnel, contractors, and subcontractors from conceptual design through operational qualification. Interface / Communication : Develop and maintain effective communication with project teams, governance bodies, business partners, and other stakeholders, as dictated by the size and complexity of the project. Basic Qualifications : Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related technical field 3 years experience in project management, project delivery, engineering, packaging process engineering, serialization, or related fields supporting packaging operations Additional information : This role may involve significant travel or short-term assignments to project locations.
