Job Description

Materials and Processes Quality Assurance – W/M Missions The candidate shall guarantee the right quality level for materials and processes used to manufacture internal or procured hardware and units on space programs: Perform Surface Mounted Technologies (SMT) Materials and Processes Control Board (MPCB) for internal or externally procured electronic units Periodically update the Program Materials and Processes Control Plan Review and validate SMT or PCB qualification plans and reports for internal or externally procured units Review and validate Declared Materials and Processes Lists for procured or TAS internal units Support internal customers (manufacturing PA, unit PA, or program PA) on materials and processes Non-Conformance or anomalies management Contribute to Non-Recurring Budget (NRB) Participate in Inquiry Boards and Alert Steering Committees Skills / Experiences Knowledge of technologies: 3E part mounting & PCB Experience in Quality Assurance or Industrial Manufacturing Knowledge of ECSS normative standards, especially ECSS-Q-ST-70-XX standards related to technologies, materials, and processes, notably ECSS-Q-ST-70-60 & ECSS-Q-ST-70-61 Knowledge of IPC standards Education Engineer or PhD in Materials, Technologies, Physics, or related fields At Thales Alenia Space, we offer careers, not just jobs.
