Key Responsibilities Drive profitable growth in Financial Lines – Municipalities and Legal Expenses, by working on creative solutions for complex risks. Underwrite new and renewal business, leveraging relationship-building skills. Collaborate with brokers to communicate risk appetite, understand deal structures, and negotiate pricing, terms, and deal structures. Expand broker networks, attend broker events, and build relationships across the market. Collaborate with distribution teams, territory managers, and underwriters in other lines for cross-selling opportunities. Set high standards of customer service, provide guidance and mentoring to junior underwriters, and support their network development. Qualifications Proven underwriting experience with strong knowledge of Financial Lines. Ability to analyze financial statements. Excellent communication, networking, and relationship-building skills.
