Develop and maintain robust data pipelines to ingest, process, and store large volumes of data. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers and team members. Design and implement cloud-based data architectures and solutions. Implement data quality checks and monitoring processes to ensure data integrity. Ensure data security and privacy practices are followed, including encryption and access controls. Document data processing workflows, architectures, and solutions. Continuously improve and innovate data processing techniques and methodologies. Strong expertise in Scala programming language. Ability to write efficient, scalable, and maintainable code in Scala. Proficiency in using Apache Spark for large-scale data processing. Experience with Spark Core, Spark SQL, Spark Streaming Extensive experience with AWS services such as S3, EMR, Lambda, Glue, Step Functions. Knowledge of AWS data storage, processing, and analytics services Ability to build and optimize data pipelines and workflows. Skills in performance tuning and optimizing Spark jobs and data pipelines. Ability to troubleshoot and resolve performance issues. Strong understanding of cloud computing principles and best practices. Experience with cloud infrastructure and deployment. Well versed in Agile ways of working Good communication skills and fluency in English. Have strong stakeholder management & engagement skills, effective at all levels 5 years of overall experience in software development, with a strong focus on big data technologies. 3 years of hands-on experience with Apache Spark, including Spark Core, Spark SQL, Spark Streaming 3 years of experience in Scala programming, with a deep understanding of functional programming principles. 3 years of experience working with AWS services such as S3, EMR, Lambda, Glue, Redshift, and RDS Extensive experience in data modeling, designing schemas, and building ETL pipelines.
