We're looking for a Principal Creative Strategist for OAG, housed as part of the Creative Strategy Capability at Omnicom Global Solutions. About the department We are a nimble, entrepreneurial strategy shop within Omnicom , purpose-built to strategically accelerate the flagship creative agencies of the Omnicom Advertising Group including DDB, TBWA and BBDO. Our mission is to craft world-class creative strategies for the world’s most iconic brands, in partnership with top-tier talent across the globe The Role: Principal Creative Strategist We’re looking for a Principal Creative Strategist —a sharp, culturally tuned thinker with 6–8 years of experience who’s passionate about solving brand challenges through insight and creativity. You’ll work at the heart of our Global Creative Capability Center , contributing to big, visible, high-impact briefs alongside top-tier Omnicom creative agencies. This is a role for a strategic craftsman (or craftswoman)—someone who pushes thinking, writes beautifully, and brings rigor, imagination, and emotional intelligence to every brief. You're a divergent thinker who enjoys exploring many routes before landing the right one, and you’re hungry to improve your craft every day. What You’ll Do Build strategic foundations for global and regional campaigns, brand platforms, and creative ideas. Partner with creative, account, and data teams to turn human and cultural insights into actionable strategies. Distill complexity into simple, clear, and emotionally resonant narratives that inspire great creative. Explore multiple angles and ideas—bringing a divergent mindset to early-stage problem solving. Contribute to evolving our strategic tools, frameworks, and deliverables with a focus on clarity, impact, and innovation. Stay attuned to culture and creatively fueled—whether that’s through art, writing, gaming, streetwear, or some weird subculture only you know about. Continuously push yourself and the work to be better, smarter, sharper. What You Bring 6–8 years of experience in brand, communications, or creative strategy—preferably in creative agency or hybrid environments. A strong core skillset—insight development, storytelling, brief writing, and strategic structuring. Ability to independently lead strategic thinking end-to-end Initiative and expressive energy – constantly looking to shed labels of what strategic thinking can or should do; instead constantly innovating to see where else strategy can be applied. A bent for language—you can articulate ideas simply and powerfully, with intellectual clarity and emotional tone. A curious, culture-savvy mindset—you keep your finger on the pulse of what’s happening in the world and why it matters. Comfort working in ambiguity and energy for refining and iterating until the thinking shines. A hunger to grow—always seeking to level up your thinking, your writing, your craft. Why This Role?
