About the Company My client are seeking a proactive and experienced Team Leader to oversee their dedicated team high-quality stainless steel and aluminium predominantly supplying within the automotive industry. About the Role Key Responsibilities Team Leadership: Supervise, motivate, and support a team of skilled fabricators and assemblers to meet production targets and quality standards. Hands-On Involvement: Actively participate in daily operations, including fabrication, assembly, and finishing processes, ensuring best practices are followed. Quality Assurance: Maintain high-quality standards through regular inspections and adherence to client specifications, particularly for automotive components. Workflow Management: Coordinate production schedules, allocate tasks effectively, and manage resources to optimize efficiency. Training & Development: Provide guidance and training to team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and skill enhancement. Health & Safety Compliance: Ensure all activities comply with health and safety regulations, promoting a safe working environment. Qualifications Proven experience in a team leadership role within a manufacturing or engineering environment. Strong background in metal fabrication, with proficiency in working with stainless steel and aluminium. Familiarity with automotive component manufacturing, preferably with experience related to classic or bespoke vehicles. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and inspire a team. Commitment to quality, precision, and attention to detail. Formal qualification or hands-on experience in engineering, manufacturing, or a related field. Experience with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
