Clinical Negligence Solicitor | Leading National Law Firm | Hybrid Working | Leeds A well-established, top-ranking national law firm is currently seeking a Clinical Negligence Solicitor or CILEX-qualified lawyer to join its expanding and highly regarded Healthcare team . This is a superb opportunity to be part of a specialist department known for its expertise across the full spectrum of healthcare litigation . You will work alongside experienced Partners and be involved in handling complex, high-value medical malpractice claims on behalf of major insurers and healthcare organisations. You will also contribute to the supervision and development of junior lawyers in the team. Key Responsibilities Manage a caseload of defendant clinical negligence claims , from initial instruction through to resolution or trial Support senior solicitors and partners on more complex matters Liaise with insurer clients, brokers, insured parties, experts, witnesses and counsel Attend court hearings, conferences and joint settlement meetings as appropriate Draft detailed letters, reports and litigation strategy plans Supervise and delegate tasks to junior team members and contribute to their professional development About You You will have a genuine interest in healthcare litigation and experience in managing defendant-side claims. You should be commercially minded, highly organised, and able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
