Mechanical Design Engineer

JOB- Mechanical Design Engineer LOCATION- Hull TERM- Permanent SALARY- £35,000 per annum Premier Engineering is working with a leading engineering company based in Hull , who are looking to recruit a Mechanical Design Engineer to join their growing team. The company designs and manufactures bespoke mechanical systems and equipment for a range of sectors. The Mechanical Design Engineer will ideally have the following attributes: A degree or HND/HNC in Mechanical Engineering or similar Proficiency in 3D CAD software such as SolidWorks, Inventor, or AutoCAD Experience in the design of mechanical components or assemblies Good knowledge of manufacturing techniques including sheet metal, fabrication, and machining Ability to create accurate technical drawings and BOMs Strong communication and organisational skills A proactive approach and willingness to contribute to continuous improvement The Mechanical Design Engineer role will involve: Creating 3D CAD models and 2D drawings for bespoke products Designing systems from initial concept through to production Liaising with internal teams including manufacturing and project management Producing and maintaining documentation including BOMs and technical files Assisting with prototype development and testing where required Ensuring all designs comply with relevant standards and specifications If you are a Mechanical Design Engineer looking for a new role in Hull , please apply with your latest CV, along with your availability and salary expectations.
