Engineer Exterior Yachting

Concept & Basic Engineer Exterior Yachtbuilding (€75K/year) We are looking for a skilled and detail-driven Exterior Engineer to support the design and engineering of high-end superyachts during the concept and basic engineering phases . You will be involved in shaping visible exterior components with both technical and aesthetic precision, contributing to some of the world’s most iconic yachts. Job description: You will work in Siemens NX 3D to design, develop, and engineer complex exterior features while ensuring feasibility, regulatory compliance, and buildability. Your tasks also include creating 2D drawings and layout details in AutoCAD. Components may include: Custom exterior furniture Swimming pools and jacuzzis Integrated and open staircases Railings, windbreak doors, privacy gates Other visible structural and design elements on deck You’ll collaborate with designers, structural and mechanical engineers, and production teams to ensure seamless integration into the overall vessel design. Who we are looking for: We are looking for a hands-on engineer with strong spatial insight and experience in early-stage engineering of large yachts. You combine creativity with technical awareness and are comfortable contributing in a multidisciplinary design environment. BSc degree in Mechanical Engineering, Yacht Engineering, or similar Experience in concept or Basic Engineering phase newbuilding yachts Able to work in Amsterdam area 1-2 days a week Proficiency in 3D CAD and AutoCAD 2D, willing to learn NX Precise, proactive, and quality-focused Fluent in English What we offer: Salary up to €75.000 per year 38 paid leave days, bonus scheme, and training opportunities Dynamic team and complex engineering challenges Company: Our client is a globally respected engineering company in luxury yacht building.
