Job Description
Handle customer queries and ordering process : Ensure that operational and administrative handling of shipments are in accordance with the SOP’s, international and company regulations. Ensure that transportation is organized as efficiently as possible with the best possible service, routing, and costs. Manage the entire operational flow from booking to final delivery in collaboration with our offices around the world. You communicate between vendors and team-leaders for the correct closing of Inbound T1 documents, Gas measurements and Assistance for Customs Inspections. Process customs documentation (import, export, entrepot) timely and accurately. Timely and clearly communicate exceptions to the customers (delay, damage, overage, shortages, etc). Customer Service: Maintain a good working relationship with customers by responding to their inquires and complaints concerning orders, invoicing, shipments, inventory management, claims, including any signs of customer dissatisfaction. Prioritize orders during peaks based on customer requests and communicate this to the warehouse team-leaders. Communicate by telephone and email with customers from different countries and handle customer questions. Act as a liaison between the warehouse and the customer. Maintain a good working relationship with suppliers, carriers, customs and Morrison colleagues. Closely monitor order processing according to SLA’s and advice customers proactively if any issues. Advisory role to customers and offer quick and appropriate solutions to any problems identified and/or encountered. Administration and Documentation: Follow up on customs clearance orders for import, export and/or other documents like ATR, COO and other special customs documentation. Maintain accurate administration of transport, customs and any other relevant documentation. Timely and accurate processing of vendor (AP) and customer (AR) invoices. You play a vital role in our organization to realize our commitment to our customers for excellent service and to meet our customers Service Level Agreement (SLA). You need to build a good relationship with our customers by delivering exceptional service to them consistently. You communicate with the customers to update and manage the operational order flow. You work closely with the warehouse Team leaders for accurate and timely order processing to meet the SLA’s and/or special requests/requirements of our customers. You are in close contact with our customers and answer any questions and/or concerns they may have.
