Senior Sales Engineer

Responsibilities: Participate in sales calls and prospect visits, effectively positioning Thales/Imperva solutions through strategic and value-based approaches, providing tailored demonstrations both in person and via Zoom, and working with prospects at technical and business levels to demonstrate value. Represent as a technical resource at trade shows and conferences as needed. Collaborate with the sales team to strategize and develop business growth approaches. Ensure successful on-site product evaluations and post-sale installations when required. Serve as the primary technical liaison to help customers optimize their investments in Imperva solutions and expand their use cases. Plan, manage, and execute customer proof-of-value initiatives. Respond promptly to customer questions during product evaluations. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field – REQUIRED Relevant cybersecurity certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CompTIA Security are advantageous. Relevant network certifications such as CCNA are advantageous. 7 years of experience in technology, cybersecurity, pre-sales consulting, solution architecture, risk & governance, or related fields. Experience with Big 4 consultancies is a plus. Exposure to IAM, DevSecOps, CI/CD, cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP), regulations (GDPR, PCI, HIPAA, etc.), network security, database management, and application development is beneficial. Must-have knowledge: Application DDoS protection, TCP/IP, HTTP, load balancers, proxies, firewalls, Linux. Advantageous knowledge: Web application & API protection, bot protection, DNS, compliance standards, internet routing, databases. Desirable skills: Application development (ASP, .NET, PHP, JSP), data monitoring, database firewalls, data privacy, scripting, PKI, cryptography. A strong interest in advancing in pre-sales consulting within cybersecurity and supporting organizations in protecting their applications and data. Understanding of online gaming market trends and experience working with customers.
