Position Snapshot Nestlé Purina Portogruaro Plant (VE) Permanent contract Bachelor's degree in Business or equivalent At least 5 years of Production/Engineering management experience with demonstrated leadership skills in large teams Proficiency in Italian and English Willingness to relocate within Italy and abroad to pursue career opportunities within Nestlé Position Summary Reporting to the Factory Manager, you will lead and manage operations and performance improvement activities of the Operations department to meet production schedules, quality, cost, and safety standards. You will contribute to developing the factory operations master plan. A Day in the Life of the Factory Operational Manager Lead initiatives to maintain, promote, and develop high health and safety standards, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures. Develop and utilize systems to achieve quality standards and hygienic conditions. Manage maintenance routines to ensure timely, high-quality execution within budget. Drive continuous improvement via TPM and manage key performance targets in operations. Control budgets, challenge costs, and optimize expenses. Foster an open, productive culture where staff take pride and responsibility in their work, feeling involved and valued. Encourage staff participation in improvement activities and programs. Lead, develop, and coach your team to maximize achievement through regular coaching, reviews, and development.
