Position Overview: Group Audit is seeking a candidate to join as an IT auditor within the Private Bank Technology and Digitalization audit team. The role reports directly to the local Country Head and functionally to the Principal Audit Manager (PAM) responsible for Technology globally. Group Audit operates a professional, proactive, risk-based global audit function emphasizing openness, integrity, and independence. It aims to help the business mitigate control risks aligned with Group strategy. This team values partnership built on mutual trust, independence, and integrity, ensuring objective control risk assessments that add value. Key Responsibilities: Perform day-to-day IT audit tasks and contribute to audit projects, including risk assessments and continuous monitoring, following Deutsche Bank Group Audit Methodology. Execute and document IT audit fieldwork, testing controls related to IT applications, automated processes, and general controls to ensure they are effectively designed and operational. Collaborate with various teams focusing on technology risks. Ensure an integrated approach covering core banking activities, outsourcing, regulatory compliance, external vendors, and complex projects. Discuss audit findings to prepare impactful reports for review and facilitate issue tracking and resolution. Update PAM / Country Head on audit progress and escalate issues promptly. Develop and maintain professional relationships within the audit team and with stakeholders. Work collaboratively with global and local team members. Skills and Experience: We seek an audit professional who is proactive, able to interact effectively with senior management, and has: At least three years of audit and IT experience, with knowledge of information security, processes, and risks. Ability to work independently, learn quickly, and build strong relationships. High integrity and professionalism, with the ability to challenge constructively. Understanding of internal controls, risk-based auditing, and the relationship between IT and business risks. Innovative mindset with the ability to develop and implement ideas. Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal. Technical skills, including data analytics. Knowledge of global banking controls, products, and legal/regulatory requirements (e.g., GDPR, PSD2, DORA). Certifications related to audit and ICT security are advantageous.
