Your Role and Responsibilities As a Senior SAP VIM Consultant , you will lead the design, implementation, and ongoing improvement of SAP Vendor Invoice Management (VIM) solutions. Your focus will be on optimizing accounts payable processes through automation and digital content processing. You will collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements, analyze current processes, and deliver tailored SAP VIM solutions. Your Responsibilities Will Include Leading the design, configuration, and deployment of SAP VIM modules aligned with client needs and best practices. Analyzing and documenting existing business processes, identifying opportunities for automation and improvement. Configuring key VIM components (e.g., Invoice Capture Center, Business Capture Center) and integrating with SAP ECC/S/4HANA, Ariba, and third-party systems. Designing and implementing invoice workflow approvals and exception handling mechanisms. Executing unit and integration testing, resolving technical issues, and supporting end-user training and adoption. Optimizing invoice processing cycles to improve efficiency and reduce errors. Creating comprehensive documentation including configuration details, process flows, and troubleshooting guidelines. Mentoring junior consultants and supporting team knowledge-sharing initiatives. Preferred Education Bachelor's Degree. Required Technical and Professional Expertise Proven experience designing and implementing SAP VIM solutions in medium to large-scale projects. Hands-on expertise with VIM components: Invoice Capture Center (ICC), Business Capture Center (BCC), OpenText Archive Server, and IES Barcoding. Solid understanding of SAP Accounts Payable (AP) processes and their integration with VIM. Strong integration experience with SAP ECC/S/4HANA and third-party applications (e.g., Ariba). Ability to design and configure VIM workflows for invoice approval and exception handling. Experience in system testing, troubleshooting, and user training. Strong skills in creating functional and technical documentation. Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities. Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and clients. Preferred Technical and Professional Experience Familiarity with SAP Accounts Receivable (AR) processes. Experience with project management methodologies and tools. Mentoring or coaching junior consultants. Exposure to OpenText Extended ECM or other enterprise content management solutions. Knowledge of automation tools or IDP technologies used in VIM contexts. Certification in SAP VIM or SAP S/4HANA Finance is a plus. Experience working in Agile or hybrid environments.
