R&D & Innovation Junior Project Manager

Join to apply for the R&D & Innovation Junior Project Manager role at RINA RINA is recruiting for a R&D & Innovation Junior Project Manager to join its office in Genoa or Milan, Italy within the Energy Innovation Centre Division. Mission This role focuses on managing international R&D and innovation projects related to the Energy industry. The team concentrates on: Sustainable fuels Energy storage Energy transition and decarbonization New energy sources and hydrogen Energy nexus (e.g., water, climate, industry, transportation, security, urbanization, food, health) Digitalization and cybersecurity International cooperation The team works especially within local and international funding programs such as Horizon Europe, LIFE, Clean Hydrogen Joint Undertaking, Innovation Fund, EMFAF, IPCEI, EIT, RFCS, Interreg, PRIMA, Fondo Transizione Industriale, Contratti di Sviluppo, ARERA, and other local programs related to PNRR. Key Responsibilities The new team member will be part of the Energy R&D and Innovation team at RINA Consulting S.p.A., contributing to international projects. Responsibilities include: Managing R&D and Innovation Projects Developing new project ideas and opportunities Preparing proposals for European and international funding programs Managing or supporting EU-funded R&D projects during execution, collaborating with internal and international partners Preparing reports, presentations, and project deliverables Expanding RINA's network of R&D partners Developing digital tools for consulting and engineering services Leading or assisting with industrial project proposals, including technical documentation and budgeting Managing industrial projects throughout their lifecycle Overseeing contracts financially and economically Liaising with clients, colleagues, and suppliers to ensure smooth project execution Supporting technical project development and deliverables Contributing to business development initiatives Education Master’s Degree in Energy Engineering or Mechanical Engineering. Degrees in Electrical Engineering or Management Engineering are also acceptable.
