Operations Project Leader

Your Role We are seeking a talented and highly motivated Operation Project Leader to join our growing organization. This self-motivated, creative, and proactive individual should be able to work successfully in a dynamic environment that includes multiple platforms, architectures, technologies, and work environments. The role is based at our HQ in Cesena, Italy. In collaboration with the Operation Direction and a cross-functional team, you will manage new strategic projects to expand and strengthen our international manufacturing footprint. Main responsibilities include managing project schedules, resource allocation, coordinating manufacturing layout activities, and introducing new manufacturing technologies and processes. You will oversee the phase-in of new products according to the planning of the new footprint, working with R&D, T&M, QA, and other departments to optimize and monitor production processes, cycles, quality, and technological standards. This is an international role requiring willingness to travel and stay abroad temporarily. Your Impact Manage problem-solving activities (6σ, Kaizen, etc.) related to project management and manufacturing. Oversee factory and assembly line layout planning and project timelines. Manage sub-projects, including machinery and automation system introductions. Conduct SWOT analysis of technology and layout solutions with the team. Evaluate and optimize internal logistics flows with the team. About You Degree in mechanical or management engineering, focused on production and logistics. At least 4-5 years of experience in manufacturing, production, methods, or logistics roles. Experience in automotive, whitegoods, or industrial companies with complex series production and continuous improvement focus is a plus. Knowledge of welding, metal, painting technologies is an added value. Understanding of production and assembly processes. Fundamental knowledge of Lean methodologies (Value Stream Mapping, SMED, DMAIC, 6σ). Goal-oriented with good interpersonal skills. Fluent in Italian and English. Knowledge of SAP and Power BI is advantageous. Enthusiasm, humility, proactivity, and a passion for sports and physical activity are desirable qualities. Technogym is an Equal Opportunities Employer.
