Job Description
Alectris is an international service provider for renewable assets, mainly focusing on the European market. With offices in Thessaloniki, Athens, Milan, and South Italy, we manage activities across various European countries and beyond. Our core expertise lies in operations and maintenance of renewable assets, complemented by engineering services and EPC projects, primarily for photovoltaic plants and, to a lesser extent, wind farms. We are also active globally in the software sector with our proprietary ACTIS solar ERP for renewable assets. Job description The Business Development Manager will identify, prospect, and sell our products and services to clients in Italy. They will contribute to the preparation and execution of marketing and sales strategies in collaboration with the CEO and team. The role involves working closely with the O&M and Projects divisions, participating in tenders, preparing offers, nurturing leads from web inquiries and networks, and representing the company at various events. Occasional attendance at trade shows and events across Europe will be required to promote our offerings. Responsibilities Develop growth strategies focusing on financial gain and customer satisfaction. Conduct market research to identify new opportunities. Prepare and negotiate sales contracts. Proactively prospect through cold calling and social selling. Respond to web-generated leads, nurturing them to closure. Maintain relationships with existing and new clients for cross-selling and feedback collection. Gather competitive intelligence and perform market analysis. Keep detailed records of sales activities using the company’s CRM. Prepare responses to RFI's, RFP's, and tenders. Engage in customer interactions, including calls, meetings, needs analysis, proposal writing, presentations, negotiations, and contract management. Collaborate with marketing on campaigns and materials. Attend trade shows and industry conferences. Report regularly to the CEO. Qualifications Deep industry knowledge, especially in renewables and solar sectors. Excellent command of English. Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. 3-4 years of relevant business development experience. Strong understanding of customer needs and market challenges in renewables. Knowledge of sales techniques and marketing principles; training in these areas is a plus. Self-motivated with a structured approach to research and outreach. Experience with CRM systems is advantageous. Excellent communication and presentation skills. High integrity and professionalism. Effective time management and goal setting skills.
