Social network you want to login/join with: Job Description For our dynamic growing, innovative Brands division within an already established big generic International pharmaceutical company, we are looking for an experienced Medical Affairs field professional who dares to look outside the clear-cut frames of a common big pharma MSL job and who wants to operate in an autonomous entrepreneurial way. This job offers you the opportunity to develop broadly by engaging in all aspects of the business and managing your own daily work. You will join a team of 3 Medical Managers in Italy and will be responsible for the Medical Affairs strategy and execution of medical projects. You will also provide Medical Affairs support to Sales and Marketing colleagues, requiring a demonstrable affinity for recognizing commercial opportunities. You live in Italy and are able to speak English for communication with the European Management team, reporting to the Lead Medical Managers Europe. The European offices are located in Amsterdam, Netherlands. Major Tasks & Responsibilities Develop Medical Affairs strategy and execute scientific projects such as publications and advisory boards. Identify and develop relationships with KOLs and influencers in the scientific and healthcare community, utilizing evidence-based information. Support the development and launch of products through scientific exchange in melanoma. Assist with Early Access Program requests from HCPs in Italy for melanoma patients. Provide business support for Italian marketing, commercial, and market access activities related to Odomzo (sonidegib) for basal cell carcinoma. Lead the approval process for investigator-initiated trials and monitor their progression. Disseminate clinical and scientific information about marketed and pipeline compounds in a timely, compliant, and ethical manner. Build and support networks in Derma-oncology and other potential therapeutic areas. Communicate emerging data to experts and respond to healthcare professional inquiries. Support colleagues in organizing HCP events by providing medical content support. Education & Qualifications Mandatory: (bio)medical or scientific academic degree. Driver’s license. Minimum of 3 years of experience as an MSL or Medical Manager in the innovative pharmaceutical industry. At least 1 year of experience in a commercial function within the industry. Fluent in Italian and English; native Italian preferred. Desirable: Experience in Dermatology or Oncology. Desirable: Experience with Early Access Programs in Italy. Technical Skills & Competencies Strong scientific knowledge. Strategic thinking abilities. Knowledge of Dermatology or Oncology. Understanding of regulatory environment and compliance.
