Grid Integration & Energy Systems Expert (Cat. II)

Job Description NTU International A/S is leading a consortium for the implementation of the EIB-funded project called Public Sector Loan Facility Advisory for the Maritsa East Complex . We are seeking experts to support the core team during this project's implementation. Location: Bulgaria Duration: The project is expected to start in July 2025 , with an implementation period of 20 months . Qualifications and Skills Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems, or a related field. Excellent proficiency in written and spoken English. Proficiency in grid modeling software (e.g., PSS/E, DIgSILENT, PowerFactory) is an asset. Minimum of 10 years of professional experience in power system planning, renewable energy grid integration, and energy infrastructure projects. Experience in conducting grid impact assessments, interconnection studies, and regulatory compliance reviews, demonstrated in at least three projects. Knowledge of grid codes, transmission planning, and smart grid technologies is an asset. Experience with EU power system operators and regulators is an asset.
