Description SIGN ON BONUS - $10,000 Shift: M-F, 7am-3:30pm (with an occasional late day) On-Call Requirements: 1-2 days per week and every 5th weekend 30-minute call-in for emergencies A Brief Overview The Cath Lab Tech is responsible to the Department Assistant Nurse Manager/Director and its clients for performing duties in cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology to assist cardiologists and electrophysiologists, ensuring quality radiological work in the EP or cardiac catheterization laboratory. What You Will Do Assess patients' status and identify their requirements based on age-specific needs. Assist in acquiring patient history and entering data into Hemodynamic system and/or EMR. Prepare patients, attach leads, defibrillator pads, BP cuff, and set up the sterile field. Assist the physician at the table, maintaining sterile procedures. Responsible for ensuring availability of supplies and equipment, considering fiscal responsibility. Handle all duties related to Radiation Safety and Protection. Additional Responsibilities Perform other duties as assigned. Comply with all policies and standards. Refer to departmental documentation during orientation for specific duties and responsibilities. Maintain compliance with all requirements to securely handle Protected Health Information (PHI), including annual training, UH Code of Conduct, and UH policies and procedures. J-18808-Ljbffr
