The Quality Assurance Lead is a key member of our Quality Assurance team based in Medolla, Italy. Reports to : MFA / API Quality Operations Global Platform Lead The Quality Assurance Lead / QP ensures quality by strictly adhering to cGMP and Phibro standards. Responsibilities include managing non-quality events, overseeing qualification and validation processes, maintaining data integrity, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, supporting team development, promoting collaboration, and driving process enhancements. Education : Master's degree in a scientific or technical field (e.g., Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Medicine, Veterinary, Biology, Chemistry, Pharmacy) Experience : Minimum 5 years in a similar role, with strong knowledge of GMP regulations, quality management systems, and experience with audits. Eligibility for Qualified Person role is required. Responsibilities include : Monitoring production processes according to European and Phibro standards and regulations Managing deviations, investigations, and reporting Reviewing quality control results and investigations Conducting periodic reports and GMP self-inspections Reviewing quality acceptance criteria for raw materials and products Coordinating audits with regulatory authorities Ensuring SOPs and documents follow GMP standards and managing documentation control Implementing changes in critical systems Managing deviations, customer complaints, and supplier qualifications Reviewing qualification and validation protocols and reports Applying root cause analysis and risk management methodologies Supervising hygiene and pest control activities Providing information for surveys, audits, and inquiries As Qualified Person, releasing manufacturing batches and maintaining regulatory records Core Competencies : Problem-solving and decision-making skills Team building and collaboration Promoting continuous learning and GMP understanding Prioritization and project management skills Fluent in English and Italian For more about Phibro's benefits, please click here : Phibro Benefits.
