About the job The Wallet Development Kit (WDK) Software Engineer will contribute to Tether's open-source toolkit for building self-custodial wallet applications across mobile and desktop platforms. The role involves technical design, implementation, and collaboration to enhance the toolkit. Experience with wallet creation or DeFi is beneficial. Responsibilities Develop innovative projects using agile methodologies and new technologies. Ensure backend services are scalable, responsive, and real-time. Maintain high security standards to protect assets and data. Experience in building or integrating crypto wallets for DeFi and blockchain applications is required. Familiarity with modular architecture, complex platform development, and APIs is necessary. Quick Learner : Able to adapt and learn new technologies rapidly. Security Awareness : Understand and implement security best practices. Nice to have Experience with high-availability systems. Knowledge of Go, Rust, or C++ is a plus.
