Job Description We are looking for an experienced and data-driven Merchandising Manager to oversee product strategy, assortment planning, and customer experience across all retail and e-commerce channels. This role will be instrumental in ensuring our customers are presented with compelling, functional, and on-brand products that support the FluentPet mission. You will collaborate with product, marketing, operations, and e-commerce teams to deliver seamless product presentation and optimize performance. Key Responsibilities Develop and execute merchandising strategies that align with brand goals and customer insights. Manage the product lifecycle, including new product introduction, pricing strategy, bundling, and end-of-life transitions. Analyze product performance and customer behavior to guide assortment planning and inventory decisions. Collaborate with product development to identify new merchandising opportunities and customer needs. Own the visual merchandising and categorization strategy on FluentPet's e-commerce platforms. Work closely with marketing to support product launches, promotions, and seasonal campaigns. Partner with supply chain and operations to forecast demand and ensure product availability. Monitor competitor trends and market insights to inform merchandising strategy. Ensure a consistent and engaging brand experience across product listings, packaging, and promotional materials. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Merchandising, Business, Marketing, or a related field. 3 years of experience in merchandising, e-commerce, or category management, preferably in consumer goods or DTC brands. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data and customer insights into actionable strategies. Proficiency with tools like Excel / Google Sheets, Shopify, Amazon Seller Central, Shopify or merchandising software. Experience with inventory management and forecasting. Excellent organizational and project management skills. A customer-first mindset with a passion for improving product experience.
