Hydraulics Design Engineer

A leading automotive manufacturing company that specializes in producing high performance vehicles is currently hiring a Mechanical Design Engineer. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in developing mechanical components and systems for limited-production electric hyper cars, working on everything from concept to production with a strong focus on hydraulic and pneumatic systems The Mechanical Design Engineer will: Create and refine high-performance mechanical components and systems using CAD tools such as SolidWorks or CATIA. Perform mechanical stress assessments and FEA simulations to verify design integrity. Work closely with teams across aerodynamics, electronics, and manufacturing to achieve cohesive integration. Contribute to prototype assembly and provide support during on-track testing and performance validation. Document engineering processes and assist with scaling from prototype phase to limited-volume production. The Mechanical Design Engineer will have: Degree in Mechanical or Automotive Engineering at Bachelor’s or Master’s level. Minimum of 3 years’ experience in high-performance vehicle, motorsport, or aerospace engineering. Skilled in using CAD and FEA software for design and analysis. In-depth knowledge of lightweight structural design and advanced materials like composites and titanium. Mechanical design through entire lifecycle - design, prototyping, testing, supporting with assembly - including DFM Practical mindset with a strong drive for innovation and creative problem-solving.
