Junior Production Manager - Stellenbosch

RESPONSIBILITIES: Liaise with other managers to formulate and plan objectives and understand requirements. Organize workflow to meet specifications and deadlines using the companys bespoke ERP system. Monitor production to resolve issues. Supervise, optimise and evaluate performance of production personnel. Plan production resources. Manage equipment maintenance. Ensure output meets quality standards. Enforce health and safety precautions. Enforce workplace hygiene standards. Enforce operational standards and process flows. Control production materials- and products storerooms. Report to upper management. Use initiative to improve the work environment. General tasks as instructed to the benefit of the employer. REQUIREMENTS: Matric with relevant qualifications Proven experience in product production. Knowledge of production management. Understanding of quality standards and health & safety regulations. Experience in reporting on key production metrics. MS Office and ERP software. Outstanding communication skills Strong leaderships skills. Attention to detail. Decision-making skills and a results-driven approach. Knowledge of performance evaluation. Valid driver license
