Procurement Manager – Cape Town

RPO Recruitment is currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Procurement Manager to join our clients team in Blackheath, Cape Town. Responsibilities Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with business objectives Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery Monitor inventory levels and forecast demand to ensure continuous supply of materials Manage supplier relationships and build long-term partnerships Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness Ensure compliance with company policies, legal requirements, and ethical standards Collaborate with internal teams to understand procurement needs and improve procurement processes Manage procurement documentation and maintain accurate records Requirements Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Administration, or related field Proven experience as a Procurement Manager or in a similar role Strong negotiation and supplier relationship management skills Excellent knowledge of sourcing and procurement techniques Familiarity with SAP or other procurement software Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Attention to detail and a strong commitment to operational excellence Benefits Salary: negotiable Contact RPO Recruitment for your next career opportunity.
