Full-Stack Developer

Our client, a pioneering digital parking management platform, is urgently seeking a skilled Full-Stack Developer with strong React Native expertise to join their growing team. This is a middle-level role with a focus on building innovative mobile and web applications using cutting-edge technology, currently remote with plans to move to a hybrid model in Gauteng or Western Cape. As a Full-Stack Developer, you will take ownership of the full application stack, working on React Native mobile apps, Node.js backend services, and web portals. The role requires independence, strong UI/UX sensibilities, and excellent communication skills to liaise with stakeholders and support teams effectively. Requirements: · Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Design, or related field, or equivalent experience. · 5 years of full-stack development experience, with strong React Native proficiency. · Deep understanding of UI/UX design principles and ability to work independently on interface design. · Proven experience in backend development with Node.js and API design/integration. · Familiarity with databases such as Postgres or MongoDB. · Skilled in writing automated tests using frameworks like Jest or Mocha. · Experience deploying mobile apps to app stores. · Self-motivated and capable of managing complex tasks with minimal supervision. · Excellent communication skills and assertiveness in problem-solving and stakeholder management. · Comfortable adapting to a fast-paced, dynamic work environment. Nice-to-Have: · Experience with design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD. · Familiarity with Expo for React Native projects. · Knowledge of AWS or Kubernetes.
