General Manager

Key Responsibilities: Oversee daily lodge operations, including front of house, housekeeping, maintenance, kitchen, and guiding teams Ensure an outstanding guest experience aligned with 5-star standards Manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reporting Recruit, train, and manage lodge staff to maintain high performance and morale Maintain property standards and compliance with safety, hygiene, and environmental practices Liaise with marketing, sales, and head office to drive occupancy and brand presence Engage with guests regularly to ensure satisfaction and resolve issues swiftly Requirements: Minimum 5 years experience in senior lodge or luxury hospitality management Strong leadership and interpersonal skills Proven financial acumen and experience with lodge budgets and reporting Excellent guest relations and problem-solving abilities Ability to work in a remote location and adapt to a bush environment Relevant hospitality or management qualification preferred Knowledge of wildlife, conservation, and sustainable tourism is an advantage
