The program aims to develop and build a next-generation aerospace system, called a “system of systems”, for multidomain operations in defense. The system will feature a “core platform” connected to various peripheral “adjunct” systems, both manned and unmanned. Within the Electronics Business Area, we are looking for a Program Manager for our headquarters in Ronchi dei Legionari. The selected individual will be involved in activities related to the GCAP program within the Airborne Systems Business Line – Training & Simulation Programmes, specifically in the IPT (Integrated Project Team) Trainers. The Person Will Be Responsible For: Planning program activities (scope, schedule, budget) and reporting on progress Ensuring control and monitoring of program progress, evaluating KPIs, and implementing corrective actions Coordinating project teams and liaising with all involved functions (Engineering, Manufacturing, Procurement, Quality, Commercial) Preparing Progress Reports and supporting Progress Meetings/Reviews with the client Anticipating and minimizing project risks, ensuring quick and effective problem resolution Managing subcontractors Educational Background Master's Degree in a technical field, preferably Engineering. Experience Level Junior or with 2-3 years of similar experience. Preferred Skills Experience in aerospace and/or training simulators is a plus. Technical Skills Knowledge of planning and economic management tools and methodologies Ability to draft documentation (Requirement Specification, Statement of Work, Technical Notes, Progress Reports, Minutes of Meetings) Basic understanding of Economics and Earned Value Risk management techniques Experience managing suppliers Behavioral Skills Ability to work in cross-functional teams Problem-solving skills Strong organizational and communication skills Structured and systematic approach to reporting Language Skills Excellent written and spoken English, minimum level B2. Computer Skills Proficiency in Office tools (MS Office, PowerPoint, MS Project) Additional Requirements Availability for short-term travel within Italy and abroad.
