What you will do We are seeking an Application Security Engineer passionate about securing application development pipelines and web applications. Your role will involve evaluating the security posture of TheFork’s applications and systems. Main activities Scanning TheFork web applications for vulnerabilities and ensuring they are addressed. Applying working knowledge of object-oriented programming languages (e.g., Node / Typescript). Maintaining strong IaaS security skills, especially in cloud technologies like AWS. Researching new security threats, vulnerabilities, and exploits. Responding to security threats and implementing new security requirements. Providing technical guidance to developers. Maintaining confidentiality during investigations. Applying OWASP concepts across solutions. Who you are Bachelor's Degree in a technical field such as Information Systems or Computer Science. Security certifications are a plus (CISSP, GIAC, CEH, Security). At least 4 years of manual security testing experience. Strong understanding of security protocols, cryptography, authentication, and authorization. Experience with security technologies in hybrid cloud environments like AWS.
