IT System Specialist

We are seeking an IT Systems Specialist to maintain and enhance our Guest processes, onboard platforms, and integrated systems. The role involves managing our onboard data configuration, analysis, troubleshooting, and support for various business functions including F&B, Shorex, Spa, Guest, Crew, Safety, Security, Housekeeping, and Finance. The Systems Specialist will oversee production and testing systems, schedule legacy system operations, monitor outputs, and collaborate with corporate and other IT teams. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES Analyze and elicit business requirements for onboard platforms and integrated systems. Support planning, management, and delivery of onboard systems. Define solutions aligned with business needs. Oversee system setup activities related to new ship operations. Assist in updating, testing, and measuring system evolution. Maintain and update the PMS onboard across departments such as Guest and Crew Services, Excursion, Spa, Finance, Retail, F&B, Dining, Safety, and Security. Provide guidance to onboard departments on PMS settings. Experience in the cruise industry; knowledge of hotel operations is a plus. Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in similar IT roles within cruise lines. Knowledge of retail and reservation systems (Oracle Simphony, Silverwhere, TCPOS, or similar). Experience with onboard PMS and ship warehouse processes (Oracle SPMS, MMS, Crunchtime, or similar). Proficiency in Oracle, SQL / MySQL. Experience with automation and reporting tools (PowerAutomate, PowerBi, PowerApps) is a plus. Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines. Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic environment. Willingness to travel and reside outside the region. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent. Fluent in English and Italian (spoken and written). VISA REQUIREMENTS Right to work in Italy.
