Our eight brands are each a major force in its specific business WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR : For our Iveco Defence Vehicles and Astra business units, we are looking for a Quality Control and Spare Parts Technical Clerk Position Objective Ensure the quality of supplied materials and components by verifying compliance with technical specifications and company requirements. This includes supplier selection, evaluation, and continuous improvement. Manage inspections at supplier sites and intervene directly in case of defects or anomalies, analyzing root causes and collaborating on effective solutions to safeguard production continuity and supply chain reliability. Main Activities Fill out inspection reports and update data in company IT systems. Report any detected non-conformities and support the supervisor in managing them. Verify correct identification and traceability of outgoing materials and spare parts. Inspect spare parts intended for customers, ensuring they match the order and requirements. Archive technical and quality documentation related to inspected materials. Analyze non-conformities in incoming materials. Handle notifications and initiate supplier complaints. Supervise and validate corrective actions (e.g., 8D reports). Plan and carry out supplier visits for source inspections to verify product compliance before shipment. Participate in on-site technical meetings with suppliers to discuss anomalies and manage non-conformities in materials, components, or processes. Collaborate directly with suppliers in root cause analysis and defining corrective and preventive actions. Draft inspection reports and visit minutes, sharing outcomes with relevant internal departments. Required Qualifications Technical diploma or higher education (mechanical, mechatronic, industrial, or related fields). Basic knowledge of mechanical technical drawings and dimensional tolerances. Familiarity with basic measuring tools (caliper, micrometer, dial gauge). Good knowledge of Microsoft Office. Ability to work in a team and follow instructions from the department supervisor. Willingness to learn technical standards, quality procedures, and non-conformity management. Soft Skills and Personal Attitudes Technical curiosity and desire for professional growth. Attention to detail and good manual skills. Ability to communicate clearly with colleagues, supervisors, and technical departments. Flexibility and willingness to perform both operational and office tasks. Availability for travel, even on short notice. Preferred Qualifications Experience, even brief, in quality control or mechanical workshop. Experience in metrology. Experience in quality acceptance.
