Position Description : The Inside Sales Representative works in conjunction with the Customer Facing Sales Team to support product adoption by demonstrating the value of Elanco products to customers. Responsibilities include prospecting, promoting products and services, managing customer questions and dissatisfaction, and supporting sales through remote and virtual channels, primarily targeting veterinarians, pharmacists, and over-the-counter clients. The role involves achieving sales results through application of the Customer Value Selling (CVS) model, implementing tactics, and meeting KPIs. Functions, Duties, Tasks : Generate demand via calls and influencer engagement, Conduct remote customer meetings, execute marketing programs, and add customer value, Use Veeva CRM to identify opportunities and increase engagement, Master virtual communication platforms (MS Teams / Zoom) for effective interactions, Report all activities accurately within CRM, respecting KPIs, Develop and maintain long-term relationships with key customers, Utilize multi-channel approaches for customer engagement with tailored content, Participate in customer events and internal meetings as needed, Maintain effective communication within the team and respond to customer needs swiftly. Business Development : Analyze territory data to meet objectives, Apply Customer Value Selling skills consistently, Achieve sales targets and key metrics, Develop client portfolios aligned with business strategy, Respond to customer inquiries and complaints per policy, Support seasonal sales campaigns and product promotions. Order Management : Take and process orders following internal procedures, Follow up on orders administratively, Provide after-sales support and referrals, Monitor pricing within the internal price list, Implement pricing strategies including increases, Maintain technical proficiency in Elanco products and broad portfolio knowledge, Report pharmacovigilance cases per regulations, Ensure compliance with all policies and regulations, Utilize internal resources to provide veterinarian support, Adhere to codes of conduct, ethics, health, safety, and privacy policies. Minimum Qualifications : Degree in Veterinary Medicine or related scientific field (Biology, Chemistry, Pharmacy), At least 2 years of sales experience, preferably with tele-sales or in animal health, Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, Ability to present effectively across platforms, respond to questions, Strong learning agility, influence, leadership, and organizational skills, Ability to work independently, results-driven, with high accountability, Proficiency in Office 365 applications. Other Information : Ability to work remotely for extended periods, Potential for limited overnight travel based on business needs.
