We are looking for an AIT Mechanical Engineer / Operator to join our team and contribute to this exciting journey. Position Overview The AIT Mechanical Engineer / Operator is a key role within a rapidly expanding international company operating in the space sector, with a specific focus on small to medium satellites. The selected candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all AIT phases meet international quality standards and project specifications. The role involves close collaboration with engineering and quality teams to ensure on-time delivery and compliance with contractual requirements. Responsibilities Actively contribute to defining the integration approach for the satellite and / or payload. Responsible for implementing satellite and / or payload integration procedures. Collaborate with the AIT team on the mechanical integration of the SM, EM, and PFM satellite structures. Collaborate with the AIT team on the mechanical integration of EM and flight units. Collaborate with the AIT team on the mechanical integration of flight harnesses. Install thermal and mechanical sensors : thermocouples, thermistors, heaters, accelerometers. Define and implement MAIT processes and related documentation. Manage the satellite and / or payload and associated MGSE, including the use of aerial platforms. Provide mechanical support during environmental test campaigns for the satellite and / or payload. Provide mechanical support during launch campaigns (if needed). Requirements Degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering (or similar), or technical diploma with proven experience. Knowledge of mechanical architecture and requirements of satellite systems. Ability to use laboratory tools and equipment. Preferred Skills Results-oriented with strong attention to detail. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills related to mechanical systems.
