Talent Acquisition Advancing Vaccines for better lives Responsibilities We are currently looking for a motivated (Senior) Technical Assistant (m/f/d) to join our Quality Control team in Vienna. Your key responsibilities are: * Testing of release and stability samples for market products using various analytical methods (immunological and chemico-physical tests, such as ELISA, qPCR, HPLC, UV/VIS spectrophotometry, cell-based assays, ICP-OES etc.) * Ensuring compliance with SOPs * Culturing eukaryotic cells and performing cell-based assays * Review, revision and verification of analytical data and documentation * Creation, revision and review of GMP-relevant documents (e.g. deviations, changes, etc.) * Material management upkeep & ordering * Assumption of responsibility as back-up planner of laboratory activities Requirements * Completed HTL/FH/University in a relevant scientific field with practical experience in a GxP-regulated environment * For a Senior role: at least 4 years of laboratory experience (in a GxP environment is an advantage) and excellent laboratory skills (cell culture, immunological assays) * Experience with cell-based assays ideally under BSL-2 conditions is an advantage * Experience in creating SOPs and GMP/GDP documentation as a plus * Experience with maintenance and servicing of laboratory equipment is an advantage * Accurate work style, team player and excellent communication skills * Excellent knowledge of spoken and written English with high social skills * Ability to work on diverse projects in a fast-growing, international environment Benefits Working with Valneva means being part of a global biotech company with a clear vision to make a meaningful impact in the world.
