Dispatch Supervisor

Duties: Supervise daily dispatch operations to ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods. Coordinate loading and offloading of vehicles in line with production schedules and customer requirements. Monitor and manage dispatch staff performance, ensuring adherence to SOPs and safety protocols. Maintain accurate dispatch records, delivery notes, and stock movement logs. Liaise with internal departments (production, sales, logistics) to align dispatch plans with business needs. Ensure compliance with company policies, transport regulations, and health and safety standards. Investigate and resolve any delivery discrepancies, delays, or customer complaints. Lead, train and monitor staff Optimize dispatch routes and schedules to improve efficiency and reduce costs. Conduct regular stock checks and assist in inventory control. Requirements: Grade 12 / Matric (a logistics or supply chain qualification is advantageous). Minimum 35 years experience in a dispatch or logistics supervisory role (manufacturing environment preferred). Strong leadership and communication skills. Solid understanding of warehouse operations, inventory systems, and transport coordination. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. Familiarity with transport management systems
